I Heart Faces Photo Challenge | November 2013 Pets

It's no secret we love our country life.  One of the best things about living out has been raising chickens. We love our ladies and especially love the eggs they give us in return.

This particular morning was no different than the many before them.  My youngest "chick" dons this costume to go out and help with chicken duty.  I wanted to keep this memory forever.

Makes me smile every time.

    This is such a sweet photo! We have friends that just built a chicken coop and we are the lucky recipients of multi colored eggs. I love the bright orange yolks too. I'm going to suggest to them a costume like this for egg gathering...just too cute!
